About Yours Truly
Hi! My name is Marisa Kelley Quijano
What I like the most is to make pretty things. Looking for my place in the world since 1979. I am half Japanese and half Italian. Dedicated to having a good time when ever possible and spreading love!
I am a full-time workaholic and part-time home dictator.
I’m responsible for the continued care and existence of a very playful 10 yr young woman named Kealani. She is {scrumdiddlyumptious}
Making pretty things is a philosophy that you can apply to all the fields in your life, I’ve done it passionately since 2005. When I discovered the fascinating, sometimes fierce, but overall captivating, design world it became my passion!
While there are so many things in life that I love (the smell of laundry detergent, Coupons, laughing till I pee, making lists, sucking my fingers, my daughter’s smile, coupons, Christmas morning), this blog will focus on my greater passions: crafting, parenting, shopping, decorating and everyday life. Your comments motivate and inspire me!!!–so thank you for sharing your love, thoughts and experiences…
Thank you for bringing me into this world! I love you both

Ah, you do make such pretty things. I am not a crafty person but I do enjoy looking at the craft and beauty that others can create.
Thank you! That is very sweet of you to say! Have a wonderful day!
Japanese and Italian? That is a killer combination right there, my dear.
Your daughter manages to look both cute and thrilled with your motherly attention at the same time. You have raised her well.
Hi Michael!
Thank you for the kind words!
You may thank my parents for that! My mom is Japanese and my father Italian.
She is a cutie!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. We both have 10 year old daughters.
